…“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…” –Isaiah 43:1-3
As I browsed other reflections on this scripture, I read one that I have chosen to share. I'll provide a link after the quoted paragraph; it is not my writing.
"Christian, take heart. God is with you. He is with you in every situation, every scary moment, every tear, every pain, and every hardship. He is a God who strengthens, helps, and upholds you. He is a God who transcends time, space, and matter. He commands the waters, the rivers, and the fire. He directs them to accomplish His good purposes. He is a personal God, who is abundantly able to keep your soul."
Some may recall last year when Dawn, HCS Admin, encouraged us to daily read Ps 91 for all of HCS. This was on nearly the same date as my church pastor suggested the same. @candouslangston introduced me to Esther Muir scripture songs in the same time frame.
I often listen to Esther Mui as I wind down at night or while folding clothes (in the rare moments my house is quiet enough to soak in her soft voice and meditative music).
Yesterday, one really ministered to me so, I wanted to share it with hopes of triggering peace and tranquility in your day. I'd love it if you are inclined to respond, possibly adding your own praise or scripture that has your focus for today.
I leave you with a link to Esther Mui singing this scripture.
In Worship & Praise of God our Father, Jesus the Son & the Comforter Holy Spirit,
Thank you so much for the encouragement. Making progress slowly but surely. Thank you for your prayers! Looking forward to seeing everyone!
