It took about 3 weeks for her to feel 100%. She started to feel better around day 12 or so but then felt weak again around day 15. She said she finally felt like herself again around day 20.

Oh wow! I’m glad she is doing better. I’ll be praying that God quickly restores her immune system and health.

How long did it take for her to start getting better? I had a televisit with my doctor Monday morning and she is treating me for the virus. I’m isolated from my family by staying in my room and she gave me a zpack and inhaler. I’m supposed to watch my temperature and my oxygen numbers.

Yeah. My chest really hurts. It feels like pneumonia, which I often get because of my asthma. If I’m resting my oxygen is around 93-94. If I’m moving around or talking it can drop to the 80s.

Praying! I'll share a few comments from a recent sermon based on I Samuel 30:1-6 in hopes of encouraging. Topic of sermon was "Encourage Yourself"• David experiences most stressful day/greatest crisis in his life 3 days before becoming King. What a difference 3 days can make. Not in my sermon notes but that thought brings to mind our Lord's Resurrection. Yes, 3 days is amazing difference (Disclaimer: I am not insinuating 3 days is a special number in regards to healing path of Beth or anyone else).• In vs. 18 &19, David recovers it all. What did he do between the crisis and recovery?Weep - David wept until he had no strength to weep, it is allowed to acknowledge the overwhelming feeling.Wait - David's men wanted to rush to battle but David knew he needed to pull apart, wait on God and God's direction. God instructed David to pursue because I AM with you.Worship- On this day when you/we need encouragement, don't lose your/our praise.* Our Pastor acknowledges that these scriptures don't mention the words praise and worship specifically but the Word says David encouraged himself in the Lord. We do this by dwelling on His goodness and surely a songwriter such as David used song to dwell on God's goodness and draw strength and encouragement.Magnify the Lord and Exalt his name (Ps 34:3). It's natural to magnify our troubles (too much media is one magnifier of troubled thoughts), but by magnifying God and His Ultimate Power over all things we automatically reduce the size of our crisis/trouble. As our Pastor stated it, there are 2 times to Praise the Lord. When you feel like it (and you guessed it, when you don't).War - It's true, we war. It is necessary to war for ourselves just as it is to encourage ourselves. As our Pastor stated, sometimes the choir doesn't show up and it's up to us to praise. It's also true that we are to lay hands on the sick and support one another (Remember Esther required support to face the King). So, let's support Beth (and others who may not have posted names) today by going to war on her/their/our behalf. Let's praise and war for them.Father God, I reach out via internet to lay hands on my sister in Christ pleading the blood of Jesus over her health, mind, and family. We declare that her immune system and respiratory system will function according the Your perfect design. We praise You , Oh God, Our strength and redeemer. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. SO! We confess that this battle is not ours in spite of how it feels physically, Beth knows your Word and trusts in the Shelter of your wing. Sustain her, revive her spirit even now as we are praying. We worship you, we worship you, Lord we worship you! Amen!Typing stops, but prayers continue. Be encouraged this day! Rejoice in the Lord. I pray you soon feel like laughing and please don't read that as a light comment but laughter is medicine (and yes, I know takes lung strength) and I believe the enemy seeks to destroy your/our laughter. When I can't laugh, I just say JESUS. Much love & prayers.
